With plenty of warm weather and places to stop like Lake Mead, Las Vegas, Reno and plenty of desert like scenery, Nevada is a fantastic state for a ride. 
Unless it is a bad year, a person could ride around the state of Nevada all year long. On a bad year, you might have to take forgo the motorcycle during a couple of the winter months. The summer months get a little on the hot side. It is a desert so keep in mind it will get cold at night.
