Oregon
Riding down the Oregon coast is a fantastic way to spend the time. The views are spectacular with the waves crashing against the shores. And with plenty of small coastal towns to stop in for the day or night, there is ample locations to choose from. It is possible to view the famed Spruce Goose at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. Or watch a theatrical production during the Ashland Shakespeare festival. The eastern side of the state provides vast stretches of roads through farmland for a relaxing ride.
Summer is the best time to visit the state for riding, during a time with warm temperatures and plenty of events throughout. Winters tend to get cold and wet.
