Washington
Washington is almost like two states in one. On the east side of the Cascade Mountains riders will find miles and miles of long stretches of roads, leading them through farmland lakes and blue skies. To the east of the mountains riders will find the Puget Sound, the Washington Coast, Mt Rainier, and much more. The Cascades provide massive trees in its forests, and plenty of places to stop and take in the view.
State travel information can be found at the Washington DOT website. Summer is the best time to visit the state for riding, during a time with warm temperatures and plenty of events throughout.
